Dr. Jaffrey is a board certified pediatric dentist and diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Jaffrey received her training at the University of Damascus and the Oregon Health Sciences University. She also earned her Master of Science degree in Teaching Health Education from Portland State University.
Dr. Jaffrey completed her Pediatric Dental Residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry and at Children’s Hospital in Oakland, California.
She is currently a faculty member at her alma mater, the UCSF School of Dentistry, where she enjoys teaching residents in the Pediatric Dentistry Program.
In addition to her private dental practice, Dr. Jaffrey loves to give back to the San Francisco Bay Area community by volunteering—her work in helping underprivileged children was recognized by the California Dental Association in their publication, “ CDA Update .”
Dr. Jaffrey is a member of the American and California Dental Associations, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. She was elected a member of the Board of Directors of the Contra Costa Dental Society and was the Past President of Contra Costa Dental Society . She is also on Staff at John Muir Hospital and Children’s Hospital, Oakland, where she treats young and/or compromised patients. Additionally, she works with experienced pediatric anesthesiologists to sedate fearful patients who need complicated dental procedures in the office.
A longtime Walnut Creek resident, Dr. Jaffrey continues to explore all the Bay Area has to offer; some of her favorite places to frequent are the Lafayette Reservoir, local Farmer’s Markets, and, of course, downtown Walnut Creek. She also enjoys playing tennis, golfing, and traveling. Most of all, Dr. Jaffrey loves spending time with her family in this amazing community.
