Dr. Ariel is a South Bay Area native. She attended the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology as well as Economics. She received her dental education at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and later, she went on to complete her residency training in Pediatric Dentistry and her Master of Science degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences from the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Tsao is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

During dental school, Dr. Ariel grew weary of chasing cavity after cavity in adults and decided to make it her goal to prevent childhood cavities. She prefers to spend time raising oral health awareness among patients and health care professionals by emphasizing preventive care methods. Additionally, she dedicated her Master’s thesis to studying better toothpastes in hopes of preventing cavities in pediatric cancer patients and firmly believes that cavities should be the least of any child’s worries.

She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Ariel is ecstatic to be your child’s dentist and provide individualized dental care. When she isn’t practicing dentistry, she can be found “researching” the never-ending stream of newly released children’s movies.
