Meet Grace Zhu, DDS
Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist in Walnut Creek, CA
Dr. Grace grew up in Walnut Creek and is excited to be back serving her community. She attended the University of California, San Diego, where she earned both her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Human Biology. She then went on to receive her D.D.S. degree from the University of California, San Francisco. After discovering her passion for treating children, she pursued advanced specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the Yale School of Medicine, where she gained extensive experience caring for children of all ages, including those with special health care needs. Following residency, Dr. Grace spent several years in private practice in Pennsylvania before returning to the Bay Area to be closer to family.
During her training, Dr. Grace devoted her research towards developing a desensitization protocol to help children manage and overcome dental anxiety. She is dedicated to ensuring every child has a positive dental experience while fostering healthy habits that last a lifetime.
She is a board-certified pediatric dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Contra Costa Dental Society.
In her spare time, Dr. Grace enjoys spending time with her husband and son, checking out new restaurants, exploring all the hiking trails, and learning how to golf.
